HOW TO CARE FOR NATURAL FABRIC CLOTHING

A guide to washing, drying, ironing, and storing your OVERZ garments.

OVERZ creates premium men's clothing from natural fabrics like linen, cotton, ramie, and silk. To keep your clothes looking sharp and lasting longer, follow these simple care instructions:

CARING FOR BLACK GARMENTS

Washing

  • Turn garments inside out and wash on a delicate cycle (30–40°C)
  • Use premium liquid detergent for dark fabrics (no bleach)
  • Use a laundry bag to protect shape and texture

Drying

  • Avoid high-speed spin cycles
  • Air-dry in the shade, inside out — to prevent fading and overdrying

Ironing

  • Iron while the fabric is damp, or use a steam iron.
  • Set the iron to “linen” or “cotton” mode depending on the fabric.
  • Press side and shoulder seams to enhance the garment’s premium look

Storage

  • Use wide hangers to keep the shoulder structure
  • Store in a garment bag or neatly folded in a fabric pouch

Proper care extends the life and preserves the premium look of your OVERZ clothing.

GENERAL TIPS & HACKS FOR NATURAL FABRICS

  1. How to quickly remove wrinkles if you’re in a hurry: Hang the garment on a hanger and lightly spray it with water — the wrinkles will naturally relax.
  2. Avoid cheap chemicals and softeners — they damage fabric fibers
  3. Never wash with synthetics — natural fibers need their own space
  4. Skip the tumble dryer — heat distorts shape. Stick to open-air drying
