HOW TO TAKE BODY MEASUREMENTS

Accurate measurements are the foundation of custom menswear.

Take your time. Stand relaxed. Measure without tension.


You will need: – A soft tape measure

– A mirror

– Bare feet and light clothing


Stand straight and breathe naturally.

1. Height

Measure your full height from the floor to the top of your head.


2. Chest Circumference

Measure the widest part of your chest. Keep the tape level and relaxed.


3. Waist Circumference

Measure the narrowest part between chest and hips.


4. Hip Circumference

Measure the widest area of your hips.


5. Shoulder Width

Measure from shoulder point to shoulder point across your back.


6. Shoulder Length

Measure from the base of your neck to the edge of your shoulder.


7. Sleeve Length

With your elbow bent at 90°, measure from shoulder to wrist.


8. Leg Length

Measure from the top of your thigh to the floor.


9. Back Length

Measure from the base of your neck to your natural waistline.


10. Bicep Circumference

Measure the widest part of your upper arm.


11. Wrist Circumference

Measure the narrowest part of your wrist.
