OVERZ (əʊvəzɛd; over zeitgeist)
The "over the zeitgeist" philosophy stands for the desire to transcend timelines and create conceptual and inspiring things. A style that is not subject to temporary fashion trends and embodies timeless values and high aesthetics.
Some brands that are often associated with creating clothes according to the zeitgeist are Comme des Garçons, Maison Margiela, Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake, Rick Owens, Alexander McQueen, Ann Demeulemeester.
Our unique positioning is based on the idea of individuality in every detail. We try to support the principles of sustainable fashion, traditional techniques and modern technologies.
We are inspired by the spiritual culture of the Asians, whose aspiration is directed towards harmony with nature, tranquility and awareness. That is signified by the unity of body and spirit, heroism and militancy. Emperors of ancient China, Japanese samurai, Tibetan monks... they were and continue to be the symbols of power, spirituality, wisdom and courage. Their deeds and life values are admirable.
Our designs are minimalistic with futuristic elements.
Our clothes are practical both for urban and island life, thanks to natural and high-quality fabrics. We use fabrics from manufacturers that also work for luxury haute couture brands.
Production process.
In Bali, we founded the original sewing shop, the processes of which are standardized for the individual approach and requests of our partners. Our clients get the opportunity to personalize their wardrobes.
The commitment to sustainable manufacturing and conscious consumption is an important part of our culture. The sewing culture encourages us to improve our skills and minds, strive for excellence and expand our mindset.
The support of charitable and social initiatives plays a crucial role in improving the quality of life and the well-being of society. Helping children and street animals and caring for the nature and environment contribute to creating a better world.
OVERZ was founded in September’16. Our trademark and company are registered in Russia and Indonesia. The founder is Alexander Gornostaev. Our headquarters and sewing laboratory are located in Bali. Our activities are run here, on this magic island.
